3rd Transnational Meeting

The the successful conclusion of the 3rd and Final Transnational Meeting of the ZP4All (Zero Plastic 4 All) project, hosted by our lead partner RTIS Network in Alimos, Athens. This gathering marked the culmination of two years of dedicated transnational cooperation, bringing together RTIS Network (Greece) and Formedil Bari (Italy) for a strategic closure and future‑planning session.

A Meeting of Verification and Vision

The meeting had two clear objectives:

  1. Feedback & Verification – A thorough review of every deliverable across all eight project activities. Partners confirmed that all outputs – from the Educational Guide and Manual to the fully operational e‑learning platform and mobile app – have been completed to the highest standard.

  2. Future Strategy – Evaluating how the ZP4All digital tools can be upgraded and used in new European projects, expanding our partnership to include more countries and securing funding for the next phase.

Key Outcomes from Athens

  • Final Deliverables Checklist signed off, confirming 100% completion of all project objectives.

  • Sustainability Plan finalised, ensuring the platform and app remain active and updated beyond the project’s lifetime.

  • Ambassador Network ready for re‑engagement, with bi‑monthly online meet‑ups and annual awards.

  • Three new project ideas developed for future Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe calls, aiming to upgrade the platform with additional languages, new modules, and a larger consortium.

  • Partnership Commitment Declaration signed, pledging continued collaboration between RTIS and Formedil for at least three more years.

Local Stakeholder Engagement

The meeting was honoured by the participation of Municipal Councillor Maria Markantonaki from the Municipality of Alimos, which placed its official auspices over the event. The municipality has committed to using the ZP4All platform and app to monitor and report pollution incidents within its jurisdiction, and to disseminate the project’s outcomes to local schools and citizens. Similarly, the Commune di Bari continues to explore integrating our “Live Evidence” data into its existing civic reporting systems.

A Cultural Touch

Between the working sessions, participants enjoyed a guided visit to the Acropolis and Parthenon – a moment to reflect on our shared European heritage and celebrate the friendships forged through this project.

What’s Next?

The ZP4All journey does not end here. Our platform (www.zp4all.online) and mobile app remain fully operational, inviting students, teachers and citizens across Europe to upload “Live Evidence” of plastic pollution and work their way through our interactive learning paths. We are actively seeking new partners from Estonia, Spain, Malta, Cyprus, Hungary, Czech Republic and Montenegro to join us in future proposals.
